Cache of Artifacts from Media Literacy Week/LA

Media Literacy Week produced a cache of artifacts useful for K-12 teachers, university academics, librarians, and community leaders.   Events throughout the week highlighted the power of media literacy education and its essential role in education today.  Find some of the online resources and activities from Los Angeles participants here.

Media Literacy Week Nov. 2-6!

Media Literacy Week www.medialiteracyweek@namle.net is designed to bring attention and visibility to media literacy education in the United States and to highlight the power of media literacy education and its essential role in education today. Inspired by Canada’s Media Literacy Week now in its 10th year, there will be a variety of events held around the country.

New Global OnRamp Resources

CML now offers FREE resources for getting started with media literacy.  CML's acclaimed evidence-based framework for media literacy provides a global standard that is widely used by educators around the world.   In an effort to promote media literacy worldwide, we are offering FREE materials in a variety of languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Turkish, Arabic, Korean, Chinese, Bosnian).  Global OnRamp resources are available as FREE downloads through the CML Store

Tessa Jolls Receives GAPMIL Award

CML's Tessa Jolls received the International Media and Information Literacy Award from the Global Alliance for Partnerships on Media and Information Literacy (GAPMIL).
